Terrific Tourmaline

Picture
Tourmaline jewellry on Quartz
Tourmalines are one of the most unusual of the semi precious stones. They are an aluminium borosilicate mineral and  come in a huge variety of colours and crystal formations. They almost cover the entire colour spectrum from colourless to black and
are also known to grow through quartz points, known as tourmalinated quartz. They have a hardness of 7 - 7.5 which makes it as hard as quartz. They are found all over the world but the most frequent places they come from are Brazil, Pakistan region and Madagascar.
Tourmalines are wonderful for healing, they provide loving energy and are highly protective from negative energies. They work in accordance to colour and the chakras.
We have an extensive array of Tourmalines in jewellery, crystal specimens and polished pieces.
